Pixel Advertising is the term given to visual advertisements on the web which have their cost calculated dependent on the number of pixels which they occupy. Pixel advertising gained popularity in the last quarter of 2005 when British student Alex Tew created a web site named The Million Dollar Homepage, and solicited advertisers to buy ad space measured in pixels on the homepage. The price was set at $1 USD per pixel, and there were 1 million.

Pixel Ruler features horizontal and vertical orientation, dynamic mouse measurement tracking in pixels and slim -.
You can measure the distance (in pixels) between to points or the length of a graphic item (window, button, etc) on the computer screen. No much need for other explanations.

Avast anti-virus prompted that the application is dangerous and I should run it in it\'s sand box. Other than that, the ruler ran smoothly and did what it\'s supposed to. I\'ll keep using it.
 Pixel Ruler 2.1.1 did everything I needed to help with the detail layout of Microsoft Silverlight controls for a better customer UI experience. I would strongly recommend this product to others.

JScreenFix is a Java applet and Java webstart application that helps re-energise stuck pixels and remove burn-in on LCD and plasma screens by randomly switching on and off red, green and blue colour cells very rapidly.

 I could not use the program completely, only 5 minutes and tells me to purchase a license, so I could test its effectiveness. I have a scratch on my lcd dead pixels or stuck. I wish I could use it for 3 days to see if I served or not.
I loved the idea, but it just didnt fix the problem..
It didn\'t fix my stucked pixel.
Would not load for me, the applet just loads a blank white window that i can get the same effects from an empty notepad window. Not sure why but it doesn\'t work for me.
G\'Day,I downloaded it and tried to execute it but it failed to operate. I have Win7 64Bit with Java 6U22 (also 64bit). All it did was create a blank screen (solid black). Strange thing is that in the taskbar preview of the program it displays the correct screen layout (multiple moving pixels etc)but as soon as you select it you end up with the black screen.CheersGeoff
Downloaded JScreenFix to my Mac, clicked to activate and lost control of the computer. The tiny program did what it said it would do but I couldn\'t find a way to turn it off. I tried dozens of key combinations, searched the internet, and ended by force shut-down to escape from the program.

 It's a pretty good ruler since the other ruler I was using wouldn't install on Vista 64 bit. The only gripe I have is that you have to click on the tiny buttons to re-size the ruler instead of just grabbing the edge. I like it's ability to be translucent. Very nice!

When you resize an image you change the number of pixels. In computer world this is how it is done - there is no inches or centimetres. But when you print out an image the printer uses a resolution that is expressed in DPI (dots per inch). Setting up DPI or the inch size for screen images makes little or no sense. Simple and easy to use calculator but I wasn\'t sure what the size refers to as I was expecting two values for size - height x width.
 Seems to be good, but has one major problem. I'm a web developer and graphic designer. It might be ok for just print jobs, but you do not have an option for 72dpi which is a more standard web resolution. I personally just use photoshop or illustrator to do any conversions, I was checking out your software for a client to use who doesn't have the tools to do so.
